Put a name to every face.

A private flashcard Rolodex for the people you already know: neighbors, coworkers, your kid’s classmates’ parents.

How it works

From “um…” to “Hi, Jane!”

Faces stick. Names slip. What’s Their Name? turns the people you meet into a deck of flashcards you can practice in a minute.

Add the faces you keep forgetting.

Pick a photo, tap the right face, and it’s saved as a square crop with a name attached.

  • Up to five photos per person
  • Nicknames and middle names, for the ones who go by something else
  • Faces are found on your iPhone, never sent to us

Practice until the name comes first.

Swipe up for the initials, down to reveal the name. You grade yourself, and the ones you miss come back until you get them right.

Quiz the right crowd before you walk in.

Sort people into groups the way you meet them, then run a quick quiz on just that group before Sunday service or the next match.

Stats show who you miss most and who you’ve finally nailed.

Private by design

Your Rolodex is yours. Not ours.

It lives on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud, which keeps your devices in sync. There’s no server of ours, so there’s nothing for us to see.

  • No accountNo password, no profile, nothing to sign up for.
  • Faces are found on your iPhoneDetection only. It finds where a face is, never who it is.
  • No ads, no trackingNo third-party analytics, and your photos never train anything.
  • No directoryNobody can search for you, and your Rolodex is never public.
